Morris Island Light

Standing in Lighthouse Inlet off the coast of Morris Island, this weathered tower is visible from the north end of Folly Beach.

The light, which is no longer active, was one on Morris Island before the sands drifted away from its foundation. Once in danger of toppling, local groups have worked hard to stabilize this beautiful piece of Charleston history.
